Muy Interesante [16]

Esta es la ilustración para el Muy Interesante de este mes de Enero (nº 320), para un artículo sobre la influencia de las series de abogados y la realidad de los procesos judiciales. No he visto un solo capítulo de Shark, pero James Woods me resulta un tipo curioso. Realmente la primera idea fue dibujar a Ally McBeal, pero no quedé contento con el boceto.

This one is the illustration for the Muy Interesante magazine#320, for an article about the influence of the TVseries of lawyers and the reality of the judicial processes. I never seen "Shark" , but James Woods turns me out to be a curious guy. Really the first idea was to draw Ally McBeal, but the sketch wasn´t enough good.

Ilustración de portada para un especial sobre el equilibrio economía-empresa en Málaga. Me basé en la imagen del popular cenachero malagueño (cito del Wikipedia) : El cenachero o zenachero es, junto a la biznaga o el boquerón, un importante y conocido símbolo popular de la ciudad andaluza de Málaga, España. El Cenachero, pescador con su cenacho o espuerta de esparto donde llevaba el pescado fresco que pregonaba por las calles, haciendo bailar sus espuertas, que ya ha desaparecido en Málaga.

Cover for a week-end suplement about the balance economy - enterprises in Malaga (Andalucía,Spain). I based on the image of a popular icon of Malaga, el cenachero (From Wikipedia) : The cenachero or zenachero is, close to the biznaga or the anchovy, an important popular symbol of the Andalusian city of Malaga, Spain. The Cenachero was a fisherman with his basket of esparto where the fresh fish was carried and he was proclaiming it for the streets, dancing his baskets, and who doesn´t exists in Malaga in this days .

Portada sobre la expansión del comercio exterior español. Me pareció bueno reutilizar el concepto del dios del comercio Mercurio, que utilicé en esta otra portada sobre los nuevos emprendedores, también para El País, aunque esta vez cabalgando sobre el toro como icono español bastante reconocible, y explorando hacia nuevas opciones de mercado.

Cover about the expansion of the Spanish foreign trade. I think that was a good idea to re-use the concept of Mercury, the god of the trade , which I used in this another cover about the young enterprisers, also for El País newspaper, though riding this time on a bull as Spanish recognizable enough icon, and exploring towards new market options.

Realmente no es un storyboard, son diseños conceptuales previos para una campaña de American express.
El proyecto fue rechazado.

Sigo practicando el color digital, me gustan los resultados, aunque aún queda mucho por aprender. En la imagen, el boceto a lápiz y el mismo coloreado con el Photoshop, que no creo que finalice.
I continue practising the digital color. I like the results, although there remains much for learning yet . In the image, the sketch to pencil and same one colored (and unfinished) with the Photoshop.
