La semana pasada entregué diecisieis ilustraciones para un libro de cuentos sobre mitología griega (muy divertido, por cierto), que se publicará en breve. Mientras tanto, relajo el ritmo de trabajo de estos últimos meses, a la par que retomo proyectos personales semiabandonados y continúo con mis bocetos a la hora del café rematados con un poquito de Photoshop.

Last week I delivered sixteen illustrations for a storybook about Greek mythology (a very funny book, certainly), which will be published in next weeks. Meanwhile, I relax the rhythm of work of the latter months, while I take up personal semi-neglected projects and continue with my sketches at coffee time finished off with a little Photoshop.

Miguel Hernández

Hoy os dejo algunas imágenes de la serie de 30 ilustraciones realizadas para Miguel Hernández, pastor de sueños compartidas con la edición para los más pequeñajos Mi primer libro sobre Miguel Hernández (en esta aparecen la mitad), y editados por Anaya. Escrito por José Luis Ferris, este cuento evoca la infancia de Miguel Hernández en su Orihuela natal enmarcado dentro de un realismo mágico que visualicé nada más leerlo y disfruté ilustrándolo.
Realizadas con Gouache y acrílico. Espero que os gusten.

Today I leave you some images of the series of 30 illustrations realized for "Miguel Hernández, shepherd of dreams" shared with the edition for the most tiny "My First book on Miguel Hernández" (in this one they appear the half) and edited by Anaya. Written by Jose Luis Ferris, this tale evokes the childhood of Miguel Hernández in Orihuela framed inside a magic realism that I visualized nothing more to read it. Painted with Gouache and acrylics. I hope that you like.

Esta tarde, por razones obvias, no creo que pueda esbozar nada, a la vez haré un breve paréntesis en la carrera contrarreloj para entregar las 30 ilustraciones para un libro del que ya hablaré más adelante y en el que me estoy dejando el pellejo (por el tiempo, básicamente) a la vez que asumo el reto y me divierto con ello.

This afternoon, for obvious reasons, I think I can´t draw up anything, while I´ll make a brief break in the race against time to deliver the 30 illustrations for a book I'll talk later and which I'm leaving the skin (for time, basically) while I take the challenge and I enjoy it.
